years, David is proud of his

Hancock, Joey Dee and Greg Poynton; plus stars

A lover of
quality choral music, David was
co-founder of the Australian
Children's Choir.
Daniel has reached a number one hit in the UK
and a string of top ten hits
throughout Europe.
An
accomplished pianist, singer and
actor,
David owns the Gold Coast
branch of the Australian Talent
School,
teaching professionals
and amateurs of all ages the art
of Singing
and Presentation,
whilst nurturing their passion
for Music and Performance.
With
his twin brother, Geoff, he owns
and operates the
Australian
Talent Studios, producing CDs
for numerous successful
recording artists.

Until 2008 Geoff played a major role in the
Australian Talent School.
Now Head of Music at Merrimac
State High School, also on the
Gold Coast, Geoff assists David
with the production of CDs and
recordings through his amazing
talent of arranging and
programming all the music.
David recently completed
writing the script for
"HOUDINI - The Musical",
soon to be performed in
Australia and overseas.
Geoff was also a partner in
this project, composing the
Music and Lyrics.

Experienced Administrator
With a Higher
Diploma of Teaching (Secondary)
and a Bachelor of Education,
David has headed Music, Drama
and English Faculties in State
and Private
Secondary Schools
for over 20 years.
In 1987 the
Victorian Ministry of
Education promoted David to
the position of ARTS
CONSULTANT.
In 1988,
David moved into Private
Enterprise as owner and founder
of
the Australian Talent School
and the Australian Talent
Studios
Recording Company.
Since then, the ATS
continues to provide
top class
Arts education and performing
experience to many hundreds of
amateurs and professionals.
David has been
teaching Drama, Music, Singing and Musical Theatre to 22 enthusiastic
students at the ADPI (Gold Coast).
He is currently a private tutor to
many professional and amateur Singing enthusiasts at his
Mermaid Beach studio in Queensland.
David Willis - Principal of
Australian Talent School
From 2001 to 2004, David held the position of Middle Years Reform Coordinator
at Upper Yarra Secondary College, situated in the Yarra Valley, Victoria.
There, he very much enjoyed his involvement in the very successful
and renowned Instrumental Music Program at the school, conducting two
concert bands and two choirs. David particularly enjoyed teaching
the VCE Music Course to his enthusiastic group of Year 10
(fast tracking) and 11 students.
David's experience as an
"ENTERTAINER" is extensive.
In
his early twenties,
as a member
of the vocal trio, TRIAD, he won
the finals of "NEW FACES"
and
"RADIO AUDITIONS".
In December
of 1993, David commenced radio
announcing on Melbourne's
EASY MUSIC 3MP and MAGIC 693
and was on air
two evenings a week from 6.00
p.m. until Midnight.
David and
clarinet/sax player, Jodie,
at the opening of Bojangles
restaurant in Broadbeach on 28th May,
2005.
Acting Roles
David studied Drama, Media and
Music at Victorian Universities
and Colleges
for over five
years.
His acting roles
encompass both stage and screen.
They include television
appearances on the Channel 7
comedy series
"Something Stupid"
and "State Coroner" with Wendy
Hughes.
David's first television
acting role was as a soldier on
"The Sullivans".
On stage, he
has played numerous lead roles
including Reverend Paris in
Arthur Miller's "The Crucible";
Master Fenton, in Shakespeare's
"The Merry Wives of Windsor";
Sandy, in Noel Coward's "Hay
Fever";
and the Teen Angel in
"Grease".

David has produced and
audio-engineered many successful
CDs for a
variety of Australian
artists, including former "Young
Talent Time" star,
Beven
Addinsall and Channel 9 / Fox FM
celebrity, Pete Smith.
In
November, 1993, David's
production of Peter Chapple's
first album,
"WHATEVER YOU
BELIEVE", was chosen as 3MP's
ALBUM OF THE WEEK.
The Video
Clip of David's own song "I'M
FEELING ON TOP OF THE WORLD"
featured on "RAGE" and "WONDER
WORLD".
Recent albums,
featuring
the wonderful vocal
talents of Marcus Jilla and
Julie Brunskill, are
currently
receiving Radio airplay,
Australia-wide.
Radio / Concert Producer
& Music Director of Plays
Pursuing his aim to support
Australian Talent, for over
twelve months
David produced
"RADIO AUDITIONS" on Melbourne
Radio Station, 3MP.
He has
produced Concerts and managed
artists for Concert Halls
and on
Television, around Australia.
He
was a sought after Music
Director
for numerous
productions in Melbourne and the
Gold Coast including
"La Cage Au Folles", "The Boyfriend",
"Grease", "Ned Kelly" and
"Calamity Jane".
In 2005, David
was Music Director of
"Footloose", "The Full Monty"
and
"Brigadoon" at the Spotlight
Theatre.
During June and July of 2006,
David musically directed the
popular
Sondheim musical,
"Gypsy" which tells the
entertaining and moving story
of
Gypsy Rose Lee.
